Privacy policy

Last updated 24 September 2026

digura is a platform, based in Kigali, Rwanda, for selling digital titles — PDFs, audio and video. We work with content partners — creators and publishers — who supply the titles, and we share the royalties from every sale with them. digura takes the payment and delivers the content. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights under Rwanda's Law N° 058/2021 on the protection of personal data and privacy.

What we collect

Why we use it

We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers that run parts of digura for us, and only what each needs:

Content partners see the sales of their own titles. They do not receive your payment details.

We may also disclose data when Rwandan law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account exists. Purchase and payment records are kept as long as accounting and tax law requires, even after an account is closed. Usage data is kept to understand trends and is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a purpose, and you can object to marketing messages at any time (reply STOP to an SMS). Some records, like completed payments, must be kept by law. You can also complain to Rwanda's National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA).
